Seana and Tyler's wedding day was much different than the average wedding I capture. For one, the entire ceremony and reception took place on a farm - I'm talking horses in their own paddock, chickens, baby chicks, and a free-range goose, just to name a few characters! What I wasn't expecting but was ultimately so excited to capture (besides Seana and Tyler!) was the absolutely gorgeous farmhouse where the wedding took place. Seana's parents had been gifted the house in Madison, CT twenty-two years before, and had it disassembled and put back together on their property in Lyme. The three hundred year old house was filled with rustic charm, and Seana wanted me to capture as much of the it as possible, which I was only too happy to do.
My favorite part of the day was during the ceremony, when Seana walked down the aisle. Tyler was so filled with emotion, I know it stretched to every one of their guests who witnessed their marriage! The moment was also special because Tyler's father was the one to marry them, and Tyler also inherited his father's original wedding band, truly a special gift on the most important day of his life.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Seana + Tyler's wedding, and enjoyed being able to capture such a special place for them to say I do :)
